xQc abruptly left Twitch over ‘headspace’ problem
This month has been quite a whirlwind for Felix “xQc” Lengyel, what with the fallout from his romance with Adept and doubts about his brief engagement with Nyyxxii. As a result, the Twitch star appears to have struggled.
xQc abruptly stopped streaming on November 22 for no other reason than that he was in a “crazy headspace” and couldn’t handle it.
“Chat, I’m not going to sugarcoat anything and make things weird,” he said. “Something is happening, and chat, it’s the first time in my entire career I’ve done this before. Something is going on that needs my full attention, and I have to attend to it and give it my full attention. I just have to.”
The French-Canadian streamer didn’t specify what he had to take care of, but he did say that it had interfered with his stream.
“I don’t want to make things weird or odd. I just have to end and just go,” he added. “I’m too in a crazy headspace. I have to go through this and we’re good. I have never done this and I hope you understand.”
Even though they knew it wasn’t any of their business, xQc’s admirers still wanted to make sure he was okay before he departed, so they flooded the conversation with messages of encouragement and support. Three hours and fifty-two minutes was the shortest stream in a very long time for him.
Recent xQc streams have averaged over 12 hours in length, with the average being around 8 hours. And that has held true for the most part of his career.
One concerned fan commented, “I hope it’s not something serious like a swatting or something,” after someone swatted all of xQc’s properties on November 15.
“Very strange. In the past, if there was shit going down, he’d just mute mic and hide cam while a video plays. Turning the stream off and saying he’s in a bad headspace… it must be pretty serious,” said another.
Fans were relieved when he quickly got back on the horse. The juicer warlord took the rest of the day and night off after quitting early, but business as normal resumed the following day.
The final tally for xQc’s upcoming Twitch broadcast: 11 solid hours of live action.
It’s not clear what he was going through that weighted him down, or if it had anything to do with the events this month. However, it is encouraging to see the warlord of the juicers operating at full strength once again.
