Xbox and Bethesda Announces New Extended Gaming Showcase
Another “Extended ” gaming showcase will take place next week on June 14th, according to Xbox and Bethesda. Both publishers already announced that the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase would take place this Sunday, June 12th, to make new announcements about upcoming Xbox games. While this event will still take place, Xbox appears to have so much to reveal in the next week that it will now have two events.
The Xbox Games Showcase Extended, which will take place on June 14th at 10:00 a.m. PDT/1:00 p.m. EDT, will allow fans to “take a closer look at the news from the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase and speak with some of your favorite game creators.” This session is expected to run 90 minutes in total and will appear to be considerably more relaxed than the Sunday presentation. Essentially, if you want to have a closer look at many of the titles that will be shown at the first event, this extended showcase will provide you with the opportunity.
For those who don’t recall, Xbox did something similar last summer to assist fund its primary gaming event. The 2021 “extended” event featured a lot more gaming and a number of talks with developers working on upcoming Xbox and PC games.
With that in mind, it’s worth noting that the Xbox Games Showcase Extended next week won’t feature any major announcements or surprises. While it will most likely be a terrific event to watch if you want to learn more about new games, the “main” showcase that Xbox is hosting over the next week will still take place on Sunday. As a result, if you only want to understand the most important pieces of information about Xbox’s future, this is the presentation to watch.
