I was wondering if Diablo 4 would be added to Xbox Game Pass. Find out if Microsoft’s subscription service will support the game or not by reading this.
Diablo 4, the next installment in the wildly successful genre, is almost here, and it promises more challenging dungeons, extensive class customization, and a wealth of loot for players to uncover.
Fans of the PC and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game may be wondering if Diablo 4 will join the growing library of Xbox Games Pass titles upon launch, or at some point in the future.
Here’s everything you need to know about the subscription service’s potential Diablo 4 support.
Will Diablo 4 be included in Xbox Game Pass?
Microsoft’s head of gaming has previously stated that a number of Activision Blizzard’s staple games would be added to Game Pass. “We intend to make Activision Blizzard’s much-loved library of games available in Game Pass, including Overwatch, Diablo, and Call of Duty, and to grow those gaming communities,” stated the CEO.
However, Diablo 4 won’t be available at launch on Xbox Game Pass, as confirmed by Rod Ferguson, SVP and GM of the Diablo brand at Blizzard Entertainment. The head of Diablo has stated that there are “no plans” for a Game Pass distribution at this time.
It’s unclear if Diablo 4 will eventually be added to Games Pass. When new details become available, they will be added to this area.
