Wild Hearts: How to Defeat Ragetail?
Wild Hearts is now available to the public and has a plethora of content, including a wide variety of weapons, armour, monsters, and other challenges. They can’t proceed, though, until they dispatch of Ragetail, the game’s initial boss/kemono. And thus, let’s talk about how to take down Ragetail in Wild Hearts today.
Wild Hearts: How to Defeat Ragetail?
Because they are the game’s introductory monster, Ragetails are also the easiest to take on. When threatened, they will mostly use their enormous tail to deal harm, but they will sometimes occasionally resort to clawing or biting. Their heads are particularly vulnerable, however attacks to the tail will be effective as well. You will have the upper hand against them if you use fire-based weaponry, though this won’t matter too much in the outset.
When the Ragetail has taken enough damage, it will move to a new location and the process will begin again. Now, though, if you get too far away from it, it will fire a little projectile at you, so it’s best to avoid that situation if at all possible. After taking enough damage, it will withdraw one more before making its last stand.
As the Kemono senses the end of the fight is nigh, it will enter a state of combat called “Rage Mode.” The Ragetail will growl and flash red and orange as you reach the third section, giving the impression that it is on fire. Make sure to stay out of the path when this happens, as a massive tree will appear next to the Ragetail and deliver devastating damage if you go too near. As of this point on, the beast will be extremely hostile towards you, flailing its enormous tail, which does far more damage than previously.
If you can cause enough damage to the Kemono, it will be momentarily snapped out of “Rage-Mode,” giving you a brief window of opportunity to deal significant damage. You may expect it to revert to Rage-Mode shortly thereafter and stay there until it is defeated or you do. Once the Kemono is sufficiently injured, it will roar once again, collapse on the floor, and wait for the killing blow. To finish it off, you must strike it down completely, but once you do, you will have vanquished a Ragetail.
