In Wild Hearts, there are identifying characteristics that make Kemonos unique. Strength is a quality that often gets overlooked in favour of physical attractiveness. When you initially started playing, Kingtusk was the major boss, but now Lavaback has shown up. In contrast to the other Kemono you’ve faced, this one really means business as it rages. Today, we’ll explore defeating Lavaback in Wild Hearts.
Wild Hearts: How to Beat Lavaback
To start out, you’ll face Lavaback, a three-star Kemono that, unlike Kingtusk, has several strategies to easily beat you. This Kemono prefers to strike from a distance, throwing molten rocks in your direction and occasionally launching itself at you if you get too far away. You can best combat this beast by closing the distance between you and it.
Its tail and legs are mostly rock, so striking them won’t hurt. Nevertheless, its head is its greatest weakness, which you will likely not be able to strike, so try shooting for the body instead. If you want to get the upper hand against Lavaback, it’s important to equip yourself with Spineglider weapons and armour, which are based in water.
Otherwise, when Lavaback takes sufficient damage, it will flee to a different location and enter its Enraged condition.
How to Fight a Lavaback Enraged Boss
Enraged Lavaback is where the action really heats up. The ring of fire it creates around itself in one of its new attacks will burst after a brief delay. Once you look down and notice the ground is on fire, it’s time to get the hell out of there. Also, Lavaback’s arms can now stretch and attack you from far distances like Luffy from One Piece, which may be a good tribute to him considering his full name is Monkey D. Luffy.
But after Lavaback has cooled off, that’s your chance to do devastating damage and seal the deal.
