Wild Hearts Co-Op Supports How Many Players?
The four regions of Azuma that are explored in Wild Hearts are each filled by monstrous critters. You’ll require a plethora of weapons and armour, all of which are improved by the special technology known as Karakuri, to take on these Kemono. But, nobody says you have to. Learn the ins and outs of the Wild Hearts co-op player count right here.
Wild Hearts: How many players can play
Wild Hearts can support up to three players in a session at once. This includes yourself, therefore you may only invite a maximum of two friends or strangers to play with you.
Director of Gameplay Takuto Edagawa explained that battle flow is the main reason why four-player co-op isn’t an option in Wild Hearts.
“In the beginning, we were considering four-player co-op but the tests we ran showed that three players was the best balance,” said Edagawa. “The Karakuri system has a very high synergy effect.
Since you are free to make advantage of the Karakuri of your opponents and show off some serious ingenuity, we felt that confrontations needed a little more suspense. So, we decided against using a larger roster. Therefore, recruiting three athletes is significantly less difficult than recruiting four!
For the time being, gamers will have to make do with only two extra pals, but it’s possible this might alter in future patches.
