Against the Republic of Korea on Thursday, Aug. 5, Team USA will try to avenge their loss to Japan in the knockout stage, as well as try to win their first baseball gold medal in the Olympics.
South Korea is coming off a potentially demoralising loss to Japan on Wednesday morning.
Fortunately, Team USA is almost certain to take home a medal from the Olympics. In the gold medal game, the winner of Thursday’s game will face the Dominican Republic on Friday night, while the loser will face the United States.
