What are Obsidian Berries used for?
After unlocking Hero Ashera and Colony 11, gather information about the colony and debate it at a rest stop. Discussion unlocks the Three Ravens at War sidequest. Three sidequests—A Warriors’ Pride, Indomitable, and Laws of the Hunt—make up this quest.
Colony 11 knowledge and Rest Stop discussions unlock all three missions. We suggest level 48 for these missions. Obsidian Berries only benefit The Rules of the Hunt sidequest. Talking to Hexen in Colony 11 starts the Rules of the Hunt Quest. She will send you to collect 10 Monstrum Mangos and 10 Obsidian Berries.

Thankfully, The Laws of the Hunt sidequest marks Obsidian Berries with a blue exclamation mark on your map. The Pentelas Region’s huge branch path or wooden walks have berries on the floor. Obsidian Berries remain in Penelas following The Rules of the Hunt sidequest. Obsidian Berries are uncommon treasures used just to complete the mission.

After acquiring the Berries and Monstrum Mangos (found everywhere), talk to Hexen again to finish The Rules of the Hunt. After chatting with Hexen, meet her at the Fornis Region blue exclamation point to properly meet Captain Easel. Fight Hentis Ansel by following Easel’s instructions. After fighting the bird monster, return to Colony 11 and chat with Brandon at the blue exclamation point to complete the objective.
