Where can I pre-order the Nothing Phone (1)?
It would be an understatement to say that the first smartphone from Carl Pei’s firm, Nothing, which was formed by the former OnePlus co-founder, stands out from the competition. The Phone (1) looks just as interesting, with an all-white design with a transparent back and distinctive LEDs, sporting the same semi-transparent design as the Nothing Ear (1) headphones released last year.
It’s not as easy as being able to purchase the Nothing Phone (1) right away; in fact, placing a pre-order is a relatively difficult process. In essence, an invite is required to pre-order the Nothing Phone (1). Nothing is a little business, therefore it’s thought that it has a restricted capacity for manufacturing, which is a wise move to prevent stock problems at debut. The good news is that you have until July 11 to obtain your pre-order invite by adding your name to the public waitlist on the Nothing website.
The place you see in the line at that point is not fixed; instead, you can go into your Nothing account to get a special referral code. Share this with your family and friends, and once they join up, you’ll move up the line. Up until July 11th, pre-order invitations will be distributed in batches. Once you receive yours, you will have 48 hours to pay a £20/€20 non-refundable deposit to confirm your pre-order.
Don’t worry; that amount will be subtracted from the cost of the smartphone and you’ll also receive the same sum back as credit to go toward any official Phone (1) accessories or Ear (1) headphones. The email with the link to purchase the phone will be sent to you starting on July 12. You will have 14 days to place your order and wait for delivery after this point.
