When will Diablo 3 Season 29 Release?

Before Diablo 4’s arrival, it seemed doubtful that there would be a Season 29 for Diablo 3. All the Nephelem around the world are counting down the days until June 2023, when Diablo 4 will be released and Lilith will return.

Unfortunately, Blizzard has announced that Season 29 of Diablo 3 will be the last season of the game before development on Diablo 4 begins and support for Diablo 3 is phased down. For many, the completion of Season 29 will mark the end of an era, but for others, it will mark the beginning of a new Hellish chapter.
In preparation for our final mission to destroy Diablo in Season 29 of Diablo 3, here is everything we know about it so far—at least until he returns in Diablo 4.
When does Season 28 of Diablo 3 end?
There has been no announcement regarding the conclusion of Season 28 of Diablo 3. Nonetheless, we think it could be early May 2023 based on Blizzard’s previous patterns.
When will Season 29 of Diablo 3 begin?
There is currently no set release date for Season 29 of Diablo III. Nothing is written in stone, but we expect it to launch in May, giving us plenty of time to prepare for the June release of Diablo 3.
Theme for Season 28 of Diablo 3
Season 28 of Diablo 3 focused on the Rites of Sanctuary and will likely wrap up with Season 29.
It’s also likely that Season 29 will make reference to the fact that this is the last Diablo 3 season, or will announce the release of Diablo 4. We will update this section after we have decided on a central theme.
