What Time The Batman Trailer Will Release tomorrow?
A new trailer for The Batman will be unveiled during this year’s DC FanDome event, but when will it be launched? Here’s what we know so far.
DC Comics’ virtual event DC FanDome is returning, and among the numerous discoveries and surprises will be a new The Batman teaser – but when will it be released? The coronavirus epidemic caused major disruptions in the entertainment business, forcing cinemas throughout the world to close temporarily and studios to reorganise their timetables, but it also meant that conventions had to be postponed. Following the postponement of the 2020 San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros. and DC Comics launched the DC FanDome to provide a home for fans of all things DC during these unusual times.
DC FanDome is a virtual event and comic book convention dedicated to DC-related content, including comic books, video games, and, of course, the DC Extended Universe and Arrowverse TV franchise. The first edition of this event took place on August 22, 2020, and September 12, 2020, and it was a huge success because fans didn’t have to buy anything to “attend,” and it had panels dedicated to some of the biggest titles in the DC universe. In addition, the DC FanDome delivered some major news regarding the most anticipated projects from this universe, such as a full cast and character announcement for James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad and the first teaser for Matt Reeves’ The Batman – and this year’s event will also have major surprises.
The 2021 DC FanDome event will take place on Saturday, October 16, and will be streamed live on the convention’s official website as well as the official DC Comics channels on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook. Although a full schedule has not been revealed, a teaser showcased some of the panels and guests that fans can expect from this year’s festival, but probably most importantly, a new trailer for The Batman is confirmed to be released right at the end of the video. Given the magnitude of The Batman and the excitement surrounding it, it will most likely be the final panel, as it was last year, and with the event lasting approximately four hours, the new trailer for The Batman will most likely be released between 1:30 pm PT/4:30 pm ET/9:30 pm BST and 2 pm PT/5 pm ET/10 pm BST.
Last year’s DC FanDome event saved the most anticipated panel for last, and it was known before the event began that a teaser would be issued. Warner and DC played their cards right with The Batman panel, and after a brief introduction by Robert Pattinson, a discussion with host Aisha Tyler about the film, the challenges they faced due to the coronavirus pandemic, and more, Matt Reeves finally shared the first look at The Batman at the end of the panel. Although DC FanDome 2021 has some big reveals planned from projects like Black Adam, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and The Flash, all eyes are on the next trailer for The Batman, especially since the film is set to release on March 4, 2022, so it’s time for a fresh look at what Reeves and company have been working on.
Fans will have a clearer sense of when to anticipate the new The Batman trailer to leak once the full schedule for DC FanDome 2021 is announced, and it’s nearly certain that it will be released around the end of the panel.
