After first gaining popularity in 2016, a TikTok audio of a glass table breaking and a toddler crying “Oh oh, our table, it’s broken” is still going extremely viral on the app.
With new users regularly signing up and spending hours reading through their For You Pages to gaze at the internet’s funniest viral videos, TikTok is without a doubt the internet’s biggest hotspot of viral material right now.
Although the app was once renowned for dancing and lip-syncing, it has since expanded its content to include anything from recipes to storytimes and more.
The same can be said for TikTok’s’sounds,’ which are audio clips embedded in videos. Users may simply create their own content based on other people’s noises, which means memes propagate quickly across the app.
The sound of a table breaking, followed by a small child exclaiming, “oh my, our table, it’s broken!” is one meme that’s made a major reappearance thanks to TikTok.
Although many people are only now hearing it, it acquired popularity after the video from which it originated was supposedly broadcast on an episode of ABC’s ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos.’
A child stacks bricks on a table in the video, but around midway through, a crack can be heard, followed by the table completely toppling. The boy then repeats the words that have been circulating for weeks on people’s For You Pages.

People have been incorporating the audio as part of new memes and viral TikToks, and some have even tried to keep a straight face while listening to the amusing sound.
Since October, the meme has gone widespread on the platform, and it appears that its popularity isn’t waning, as many people are still utilising it in their videos.
