We Can Expect the Return of the Nike Kobe 4 Protros in 2023
Nike (NYSE:NKE -0.39%) has remained rather silent about launching new products in the second half of 2022, despite having received permission from Kobe Bryant’s estate to resume distributing his signature line. And that’s because we recently got word that the Nike Kobe 4 Protro will be back in stores in 2023, setting the stage for an exciting year.

With 2019’s introduction of striking collaborations alongside UNDEFEATED and the return of the model’s original colorways, the Black Mamba hoops sneaker embarked on a streak back. The silhouette, created by Eric Avar, was a watershed event for the late Lakers legend’s line since it was a departure from the high-top basketball silhouettes that were being pushed at the time and arrived with a mid-like cut. To coincide with the model’s re-emergence into the limelight, a new “White” colorway featuring “Metallic Gold” and “Bright Emerald” accents is scheduled for a spring 2017 release (the picture above is a mock-up). Although there have been no leaked photos of the sneakers so far, we may anticipate to see them in the wild in the coming months.
The date of May 1, 2023 is now marked on Nike’s calendar, but the company has not officially verified this date.
