Warzone 2: How To Make Snipers One-Hit
Sniper weapons may one-hit fully armored foes under specific scenarios in the third season of Warzone 2, despite recent adjustments to the battle royale mode. In this article, we will explain which snipers in Warzone 2 can deal one hit and which cannot.
A fully armored adversary can now be killed with a single shot from a bolt-action sniper rifle. It wasn’t until Season 2 that developers fixed it so incendiary bullets could deliver enough damage to kill foes after they were hit. In February of 2023, they rolled back the alteration, claiming they made a mistake.
However, with the revival of the St. Patrick’s Day Event, one-hit snipers made a brief comeback. With the release of Season 3 on April 12, Raven said the alteration was permanent.

They said, “After testing in our Saint Patrick’s Day Event, we are adding One-Hit-Down Snipers to create added variety in combat playstyles. Bolt-action snipers equipped with Explosive Ammunition will be able to down enemies with one skill shot. The MCPR-300 has also had Explosive Ammunition added to its progression.”
Warzone 2: How To Make Snipers One-Hit
How do you make your bolt-action sniper rifles unstoppable with a single shot? The correct strategy is to load up on incendiary ammunition and go for the head.
One can kill an opponent wearing full armor and health simply by shooting them in the head and then letting the incendiary ammunition burn through them.
Semi-auto alternatives, such as the Signal 50, cannot one-hit at this time because only bolt-action snipers are verified to be capable of doing so. Although they deal less damage overall, their increased rate of fire makes up for it.
