Season 3 of Call of Duty adds two new DMZ mode items to the Backpack inventory system. Each has its own unique selling point that players can use to make the game easier to pick up and play than its predecessor. Obtaining the Secure and Scavenger Backpacks in Warzone 2 DMZ is detailed here.
Warzone 2 DMZ: How to Get Secure & Scavenger Backpack
The new Bartering feature at various Buy Stations allows players to create Secure and Scavenger Backpacks. While it’s possible to acquire these via normal DMZ looting or station purchases, recipes are currently the most reliable method. The ingredients for the Secure and Scavenger Backpack recipes in Warzone 2 DMZ are as follows:
Secure Backpack: Electric Drill, Gas Can, and Gold Skull
Scavenger Backpack: Battery, Canned Foods, and 2 Gun Cleaning Oil
The Gold Skull is in Room 302, Airdrops, and the Chemical Storage in Al Mazrah, whereas the Gas Cans and Electric Drills are in gas stations. If you’re willing to do some exploring and looting throughout the various map places, you shouldn’t have too much trouble gathering the remaining items for the Scavenger Backpack.

If the product isn’t available at the Buy Station, players can go to the ‘Barter’ tab and make it using the appropriate resources.
Players that like to keep their gear between missions rather than trading it in for experience points following extraction will benefit greatly from using a secure backpack. The Active Duty Operator will maintain all non-Contraband and non-soldier resources, even if they lose a match.
Scavenger Backpacks in Warzone 2 DMZ, on the other hand, allow you to swap out your third weapon slot for a larger inventory. You can carry a lot of loot without worrying about your pack getting too heavy with one of these products, making them ideal for scavenger missions.
