Visa announces the launch of its Bitcoin cashback cards in Brazil and Argentina
Visa has been developing crypto cards with a number of companies and has already introduced them in a number of countries. Now it’s time for Visa to announce the launch of its Bitcoin payback cards in Brazil and Argentina. These new items, which will be their first in Latin America, will be launched in collaboration with a number of companies.
Visa’s new Bitcoin cashback cards
In Latin America, Visa is collaborating with a number of fintech companies and cryptocurrency firms. Users will receive Bitcoin rewards for every transaction they complete with their new products. This isn’t the first time Visa has partnered with businesses in the region. In 2021, they partnered with Lemon Cash, Argentina’s cryptocurrency exchange, to provide users with a 2% Bitcoin payback card.
This time, the Crypto.com cards will be available in Brazil and Argentina. In addition, it is forming a new relationship in Argentina with Satoshi Tango, a crypto trading platform, to provide new goods. Visa is partnering with Alterbank and Zrobank to issue credit cards in Brazil.
Visa is taking a serious look at the world of cryptocurrency. “The cryptocurrency ecosystem continues to gather pace in this region with higher investment, more consumer adoption, and more crypto-enabled usage cases,” stated Visa’s Senior Vice President of Products and Innovation. As a result, they’re attempting to make it easier for their customers, partners, clients, and consumers to use cryptocurrency as a payment option.
The majority of crypto cashback credit cards are similar to standard credit cards, but with a twist. You get a credit limit and must go through an approval process, just as with regular credit cards. You will, however, gain cryptocurrency incentives for using this card. If you choose, some crypto cards even give you the choice to pick between traditional and crypto rewards.
To date, most of these cards have been released in conjunction with exchanges and crypto platforms. As a result, customers can sell, exchange, or transfer the reward bitcoin in their accounts immediately. Crypto reward credit cards are an alternative if you’re looking for a passive approach to accumulating coins.
