Video of Amber Heard storming out of courtroom goes viral
It’s been reported that a video of Amber Heard exiting the courthouse while she’s still in litigation with Johnny Depp went viral.
Tuesday marked the end of Heard’s cross-examination in the Fairfax, Virginia courtroom in the multi-million dollar defamation trial.
Heard’s retaliation lawsuit against Johnny Depp has been filed for $100 million. It all started with an op-ed Heard penned for The Washington Post in 2018, when she claimed to have been a victim of domestic abuse and is now suing over it.
Depp’s legal team argues the inference caused him considerable financial and reputational injury, despite the fact that he was not identified in the piece.
When their marriage dissolved in 2016, they each claimed that the other was aggressive toward them.
Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez interrogated Heard last week about alleged assaults by the actor.
On Tuesday afternoon, Johnny Depp’s defence team concluded cross-examination of Heard. Elaine Bredehoft questioned Vasquez about Heard’s testimony, and she constantly objected to it as hearsay and lacking proof.
There were no more questions for Bredehoft, and the court ordered Heard to sit with her lawyer. While Bredehoft and Heard were spotted seated together, Heard stormed out of the courtroom.
