Upstate and Northeast Georgia Tornado Watch Cancelled
There’s a chance of severe weather overnight, but it should clear out by Thursday. On Friday and throughout the weekend, there’s a chance of another round of storms.
Upstate and Northeast Georgia’s Tornado Watch has been cancelled due to lack of activity.
While some intense thunderstorms may accompany an approaching front tonight, the greater severe threat will be to our west. The line of storms moving through between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. could bring damaging wind and isolated tornadoes.
Only a modest amount of rain is expected to fall on Thursday, but a far more powerful storm system is expected to roll in on Saturday and Sunday. T-storms, rain, and perhaps snow in the mountains are all possibilities today.
