U.S. citizens have voted Prince Harry their favorite royal
Following King Charles III’s coronation, Bonus Finder commissioned a study to learn which member of the British Royal Family was most popular amongst American respondents. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, has surprisingly become the most beloved British royal, winning the favor of 33.8% of poll takers in America.
Prince Harry was voted most popular among the 36 individual states, confirming his title as America’s favorite royal. In addition, this differentiation cut across age and gender lines, with Prince Harry enjoying universal adulation.
While Prince Harry received the most votes, Kate, Princess of Wales, came in as a close second with 29.6 percent. Prince William, who received 22 percent of the vote, is right on his heels. In spite of recent controversies, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, placed fourth with 18.6 percent.
Interestingly, King Charles III, who was just crowned, ranks only fifth in the survey and is not the favorite monarch of any of the states. However, Queen Camilla is at number seven, with Princess Anne at number six.

These findings demonstrate the continued interest in and affection for the British Royal Family among the American public. The success Prince Harry has had since moving to the United States with his wife, Meghan Markle, is evidence of his ability to charm people regardless of their knowledge of his royal background.
The continued unconventionality of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex seems to have had no negative effect on their impact or popularity, ensuring Prince Harry’s status as America’s favorite royal figure.
