TwitchCon back injury occurred while Adriana Chechik was pregnant
Since breaking her back at TwitchCon, streamer Adriana Chechik has been chronicling her recovery narrative. Her latest update has many Twitch viewers devastated.
Chechik leaped into Lenovo’s foam pit at TwitchCon 2022, damaging her spine many times. The foam block pit was shallow and exposed the concrete below, injuring many spectators. Chechik was far worse.
Chechik shared her story after TwitchCon. Chechik barely walked after her initial operations. Since she can’t work, she’s planning a Disney trip and creating LEGO sets to keep cheerful.
Chechik feels anxious since the media is “invasive” despite her updates. She has also been inundated with streaming community demands that Lenovo and Twitch be held accountable for the dangerous foam pit.
“Guys, please respect my healing in this time. Any talk of what I should do to these companies or who I need to be mad at is not a part of how I want to heal currently. Please, if you must talk, don’t tag me. I am human and I do see this and I am currently pushing hard to heal!” Chechik said
Chechick claimed she’s horrible at “being lazy” and streamed occasionally. Chechik announced her pregnancy at TwitchCon on her current broadcast.

During her live, Chechik gave updates while dressed for Halloween. She displayed her back and explained that her stitches were hidden. Chechik gasped after standing up to display her back.
She also said she was pregnant during TwitchCon.
“I was pregnant and I didn’t find out till I was in the hospital. So I also had crazy hormones. I’m not pregnant anymore because of the surgery. I couldn’t keep it. My hormones are through the f—ing roof because of that,”
Many streamers were surprised by this. After the spinal injury, Chechik lost a pregnancy.
After TwitchCon, Chechik has remained positive. As she recovers, she has set new body goals and is trying to stream again.
