“Thunderbolts – Marvel Studios’ has found a Director and Writer for the Series”
According to Deadline, Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts picture has found a director. Jake Schreier has been hired to direct the exceedingly top-secret project, with Black Widow screenwriter Eric Pearson also set to write the script.
Thunderbolts: Plot
The premise of the film is unknown, although it will most likely adapt the overall storyline from the comics, which centres around a squad of supervillains who participate in government missions. Along with the narrative, the identities of the villains that make up the group are being kept under wraps, while Deadline reports that Marvel has already contacted some people who have previously worked on MCU projects to keep their schedules available.
Thunderbolts: Cast
Baron Zemo and Taskmaster, both of whom have previously appeared in Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, are potential villains that have a history of being in the Thunderbolts. Yelena Belova, Ghost, The Abomination, U.S. Agent, and the Winter Soldier are just a few of the villains who could arrive.
Fans have theorised that either Zemo or Juliua Louis-Dreyfus — who played Valentina Allegra de Fontaine in the Disney+ shows The Falcon and The Winter Soldier — would be the best candidates to command the organisation.
Other details
Schreier’s filmography is limited, with the director having only worked on Robot & Frank (2012), Paper Towns (2015), and the cinematic version of Chance the Rapper’s Magnificent Coloring World Tour in 2021. Prior to working in Hollywood, Schreier directed numerous music videos for artists such as Francis and the Lights, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Haim, Baby Keem, and Kanye West.
