“Thor: Love and Thunder – Final Runtime is Revealed Alongside New Poster”
Thor: Love and Thunder, the highly anticipated upcoming sequel from Marvel Studios, is set to be released in a few weeks, and the film’s full runtime may have leaked ahead of time.
Thor: Love and Thunder: Runtime
Thor: Love and Thunder’s runtime is set at 1:58:34, just under 120 minutes, according to a new poster on the Big Screen Leaks Twitter account. If this runtime is accurate, it will be one of the shortest Marvel Cinematic Universe films in a long time, with many of the MCU’s Phase 4 films lasting well over two hours. Indeed, the film is expected to be shorter than Taika Waititi’s first Thor film, Thor: Ragnarok, which lasted 130 minutes.
Thor: Love and Thunder: Synopsis
Thor embarks on a journey unlike any he’s ever undertaken in the fourth instalment: a quest for inner peace. “However, his retirement is cut short by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher, who seeks the annihilation of the gods,” according to the synopsis. “To combat the threat, Thor enlists the assistance of King Valkyrie, Korg, and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who, much to Thor’s surprise, wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor.” They embark on a perilous cosmic journey together to solve the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.”
