The film, which you can view below, honours Chris Hemsworth’s more than ten-year legacy as the God of Thunder in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It also includes a few seconds of Hemsworth’s initial Thor screen test.

MCU alums Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, who is now assuming the mantle of the Mighty Thor and will be wielding the famous Mjolnir, can all be seen in the movie Thor: Love and Thunder. Oscar-winning actor Christian Bale will also be returning to the superhero genre as he takes on the character of Gorr the God Butcher, a villain.
Thor: Love and Thunder: Synopsis
In the fourth film, Thor embarks on a quest for inner peace that is unlike anything he has ever experienced. But an assassin from another galaxy known as Gorr the God Butcher, who wants to wipe off all gods, interrupts his retirement, according to the synopsis. Thor enlists the aid of King Valkyrie, Korg, and his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster to defeat the menace. To Thor’s surprise, Jane Foster mysteriously holds his magical hammer, Mjolnir, in the role of the Mighty Thor. Together, they set out on a terrifying cosmic quest to unravel the truth behind the God Butcher’s retaliation and put an end to him before it’s too late.

Other cast members include veterans of the franchise including Jaime Alexander as Sif, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Taika Waititi as Korg, and Peter Quill, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, and Vin Diesel as Groot from the Guardians of the Galaxy.
The sequel to Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok, Thor: Love and Thunder, is once again being directed by him (Jojo Rabbit) from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Someone Great).
