The rapper 50 Cent appears to have resolved the “penis enlargement” lawsuit
50 Cent has reached a financial settlement in his penis enlargement case after nearly 7 months of litigation. He will not pursue any additional recompense for damages.
It all started when the New York rapper filed a lawsuit against MedSpa/Perfection Plastic Surgery in Miami and its owner, Angela Kogan. But, in December 50 Cent turned his attention to celebrity news website TheShadeRoom, which Kogan’s lawyers have accused of spreading false rumours that the hip hop musician underwent plastic surgery to improve his genitalia.
A legal case against Angela Kogan may yet be filed by 50 Cent.
50 Cent might still choose to go to trial in July against Angela Kogan, despite having settled with TSR. The plastic surgeon’s Instagram post with the rapper, however, makes no mention of the rapper’s genitalia, so this seems implausible.
Angela Kogan is still waiting for a verdict in the case against her.
Lawyers for Kogan said the rapper was aware the shot would be shared online: “It is clear from the photo itself that the taking thereof was not a random happenstance or unsolicited occasion. The content of the photo shows [50 Cent] in [Kogan’s’] office, next to [Kogan] in her role as a businesswoman/aesthetician (i.e. in professional attire).”
The doctor did tweet a (since deleted) screenshot of TSR’s article with the comment “Thank you @theshaderoom for the feature!!
Although the trial date has not been postponed, the case against Angela Kogan has stalled.
