The PGA Tour 2K23 video game might include Paige Spiranac and Gareth Bale
This week, a well-known face from the worlds of golf and wrestling collide in the popular video game PGA Tour 2k23.
The reason for this is the inclusion of John Cena, a Hollywood actor and WWE great, as a playable character in the game.
Fans on Twitter reacted favorably to the news when it broke at the end of the month, and his inclusion in the game has prompted others to submit new players for inclusion.
Which potential players would you like to see in PGA Tour 2K23?
Influencer and golfer Paige Spiranac, who was spotted at this year’s Masters tournament in Augusta, is a popular candidate.
The 30-year-old has quickly become one of the most followed athletes on Instagram.
In addition to his 3.7 million Instagram followers, the ex-San Diego State and Cactus Tour golfer has 1.4 million on TikTok.
Former soccer sensation Gareth Bale is another candidate whose name has been thrown around the internet. It’s well knowledge that the five-time Real Madrid Champions League winner is an avid golfer; he and Justin Rose recently tied for 16th in the in&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
In January, Spanish golfer Jon Rahm told, “I told Gareth, you just can’t be so good at professional football and golf at the same time, it just doesn’t seem fair.”
A humorous suggestion to include Happy Gilmore in the game was made by a fan.
Adam Sandler starred as Happy Gilmore, a hockey player who unexpectedly finds success as a golfer, in the classic 1996 blockbuster.
Fans also suggested Tiffany Stratton, Baron Corbin, and Shooter McGavin from Happy Gilmore, as well as characters from the James Bond series and the WWE.
Since John Cena has already been featured, it’s possible that some of these additions may be made.
