‘The Masked Singer’: Judges taken aback by Baby reveal
On Wednesday night, Larry the Cable Guy, disguised as a baby, was eliminated from Season 6 of FOX’s The Masked Singer.
“Thanks @MaskedSingerFox for a great time. Were the folks not entertained!!! I appreciate the invite and thanks for being so awesome,” After the episode aired, the comedian took to Twitter.
Unfortunately, the Baby was returned to his crib. Fortunately, there was no temper tantrum when it was revealed that the masked singer was none other than the legendary comedian Larry the Cable Guy.
Following his elimination, Larry stated, “This show has crushed every dream I’ve ever had,” “I thought I sand good, ‘Hey, I’m going well out here,’ and the next thing you know,” the comedian says before blowing a raspberry to announce his defeat.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if you see me on the street corner somewhere begging for some kind of money and it’s all because of this show,” Larry continued.
While the cable guy couldn’t hide his disappointment, he did admit that the show was a lot of fun.
“It is a fun show,” he said. “I’ve never done anything like this before. I’ve never sang in front of anybody before. I mean, I can tell jokes in front of 8,000 people, no sweat, but I can’t karaoke in front of five.”
Larry used a British/Australian accent to throw the judges off guard because, according to him, the judges would have recognised his signature southern drawl, and if nothing else, they would have recognised the voice of Tater from Disney’s Pixar’s “Cars.”
He had to restrain himself from saying his catchphrase, “Git-r-done.”
“Let’s face facts, they were stunned that I was that awesome at singing songs,” Larry said. “Who am I kidding. That’s why I fooled them, because I’m freaking awesome!”
Larry the Cable Guy learned two things after appearing on “The Masked Singer”: never put on a hot baby suit while eating chilli the night before, and “Don’t put extra cheese on that chili.”
Larry announced on Twitter that Riverdance would be his next project after his singing debut.
