The high-profile fantasy drama is expected to follow multiple plot lines, “from deep within the Misty Mountains’ dwarf mines to the high politics of the elven kingdom of Lindon and the humans’ powerful, Atlantis-like island, Nmenor,” all of which will eventually lead to the creation of the titular powerful rings.
