    “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power – Unveils More Character Names”

    The majority of the series regulars’ character names have been revealed in Amazon Studios’ highly anticipated TV adaption The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on September 2.

    The high-profile fantasy drama is expected to follow multiple plot lines, “from deep within the Misty Mountains’ dwarf mines to the high politics of the elven kingdom of Lindon and the humans’ powerful, Atlantis-like island, Nmenor,” all of which will eventually lead to the creation of the titular powerful rings.

    Robert Aramayo plays Elrond, Morfydd Clark plays Galadriel, Maxim Baldry plays sailor Isildur, Nazanin Boniadi plays human village healer Bronwyn, Ismael Cruz Córdova plays silvan elf Arondir, Charles Edwards plays elven smith Celebrimbor, Sophia Nomvete plays dwarven princess Disa, and Charlie Vickers plays Halbrand in The Lord

    Additional Cast

    Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Trystan Gravelle, Ema Horvath, Joseph Mawle, Lloyd Owen, Leon Wadham, and Benjamin Walker make up the rest of the cast, albeit they have yet to be assigned character names.

    J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, who also serve as showrunners, conceived and executive produced The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Amazon Studios gave the show a second season renewal even before it went into production for the first season.
