“The Lincoln Lawyer – Netflix Series, Renewed for second season”
According to a recent Variety story, Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer has been renewed for a second season.
The successful drama series based on Michael Connelly’s book series began earlier this year and was so popular on Netflix that it was quickly renewed for a second season. Season 2 of the series will be ten episodes long, much like the first. It will be based on Michael Connelly’s novel The Fifth Witness this time.
Dailyn Rodriguez will join the show as co-showrunner and executive producer in the second season, where she will work alongside Season 1 showrunner Ted Humphrey. Rodriguez has written for blockbuster shows such as Fantasy Island, Lie to Me, and The Glades, and previously served as co-showrunner on the USA Network series Queen of the South. Manuel is also said to be in the cast of the film, according to Variety Garcia-Rulfo, along with Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, and Angus Sampson, will return to the season.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2: Synopsis
The summary reads, “When his former legal partner is murdered, Mickey Haller is left to take over the practise, including a high-profile murder trial.” “With the biggest case he’s ever had to deal with out of the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car, Mickey realises there may be more on the line than he believed.”

The Lincoln Lawyer’s first season was based on the second book in the series, The Brass Verdict. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Christopher Gorham, Krista Warner, Michael Graziadei, and Jamie McShane star in the series.
David E. Kelly (Big Little Lies, Mr. Mercedes) developed, wrote, and executive produced the Lincoln Lawyer series, with Ted Humphrey serving as showrunner. Ted Humphrey, Michael Connelly, and Ross Fineman serve as executive producers.
