The Golden Joystick Awards in 2021 named Final Fantasy 14 Best Community.
The Golden Joystick Awards 2021 have named Final Fantasy 14 the winner of the Best Games Community award.
This year’s award went to Square Enix’s hugely popular MMO, which outperformed some really stiff competition. Monster Hunter Rise, No Man’s Sky, and Destiny 2 were all knocked out of the running by the game’s relentless exploration of new worlds.

After the incredible Shadowbringers expansion in 2019, things for Final Fantasy 14 have only gotten better. A substantial expansion hasn’t launched in almost two years and servers have been struggling to keep up with the flood of new gamers.
The Endwalker expansion for Square-enormous Enix’s MMO will be released later this year in December. All eyes are on Endwalker to provide a show-stopping climax to its amazing saga that’s been running for more than a decade.
“Final Fantasy 14’s climactic expansion feels like it’s building towards something special,”. “The expansion’s brand new content feels brilliantly put together, as though the Reaper and Sage will effortlessly meld into existence alongside the existing Jobs, and meaningful new changes like the Trust system upgrades and downscaled damage attributes feel primed to set up Final Fantasy 14 for even more success in the years to come.”
Final Fantasy 14 is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
