The Boys Renewed for Season 4 at Amazon Prime
Prime Video has announced the Season 4 renewal of their violent superhero series, The Boys, just one week after it returned to our screens with the nerve-wracking action of Season 3. While fans haven’t seen the season finale yet, the way Season 3 ends clearly lays the ground for the fourth season, and viewers can now comfortably go into the finale without wondering about the series’ survival.
With The Boys: Diabolical animated anthology premiering earlier this year and production well underway on the college spinoff series starring Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jaz Sinclair, Sean Patrick Thomas, and others, the streamer has gone all-in on showrunner Eric Kripke’s adaptation of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic book series of the same name.
“Speaking for the cast and crew, we’re so grateful to Sony, Amazon, and most importantly, the fans for embracing the show and letting us make more,” Kripke said, referring to the Season 3 premiere’s girth. We’re ecstatic to continue Butcher and the Boys’ battle against Homelander and the Seven, as well as to make a statement about the insane society we live in. This is also the first time in history where expanding genitalia has resulted in more success.”
