Taylor Swift Might Have Revealed the Name of Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively’s Daughter on ‘Folklore’

Taylor Swift’s fans’ attention to detail is just impressive! Not long after the superstar dropped the 16-song Folklore on Friday (July 24), fans noticed that she may have revealed the name of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s third daughter.

Guessing the name? Betty, the title of the album’s 14th track from Folklore.

“You heard the rumors from Inez/ You can’t believe a word she says,” Swift sings in one verse, and then later, “She said, ‘James, get in, let’s drive.”

The couple’s 5-year-old daughter name is James, while Inez is their 3-year-old’s moniker. Reynolds and Lively have been very quiet about their personal lives. They have yet to officially reveal the name of their youngest, who was born in late 2019.

A source told People that the song “Betty” was partially named after the couple’s infant daughter.

According to various reports, both Reynolds and Lively posted about the album to their Instagram Stories on its release date. Per People, the actress gave a shout-out to Swift, writing, “Thank you @taylorswift … Like you, Folklore is full of heart, soul, humor, passion, intelligence, wit, whimsy, reality, imagination, strength, vulnerability, and above all things: LOVE. We <3 you”

Swift revealed only one day before the album’s release that she had new music on the way. “Most of the things I had planned this summer didn’t end up happening, but there is something I hadn’t planned on that DID happen,” she wrote on Instagram. “And that thing is my 8th studio album, folklore. Surprise Tonight at midnight I’ll be releasing my entire brand new album of songs I’ve poured all of my whims, dreams, fears, and musings into. I wrote and recorded this music in isolation but got to collaborate with some musical heroes of mine.”

Collaborators on her latest effort include The National’s Aaron Dessner, Bon Iver, and Jack Antonoff.
