Supposed Jay-Z son files fresh Supreme Court petition for paternity recognition
Rymir Satterthwaite, who claims to be Jay-Z’s son, has filed a petition with the Supreme Court seeking legal recognition of his parentage.
In order to effectively pursue the case against Jay-Z, he has requested that the court documents be opened.
Until “justice is served,” Satterthwaite said, “this is not going to be over.”
To put it simply, I want to live my life, and if it is God’s will, I would be honored if Jay-Z wanted to be a part of it.
I won’t give up until I’ve accomplished my goal. And the law is on my side, therefore I’ll be victorious.
Satterthwaite has been in the spotlight recently because he says he is Jay-Z’s biological son.
If you believe Satterthwaite and his mother Wanda, he was born in 1994 and they dated Jay-Z briefly before he became famous. However, Jay-Z has often disputed allegations that he is Satterthwaite’s father, leading to protracted legal wrangling.
Satterthwaite’s mother sued Jay-Z in a New Jersey civil court in 2011 for child support and paternity.
However, the court ruled that the complaint should have been filed in another state and the case was never refiled.
“The allegations have previously been reviewed thoroughly by the courts and have been refuted,” Jay-Z’s attorneys wrote to the Daily Mail.
