Star Wars Jedi: Survivor takes an open-world Metroidvania approach, with frequent retracing encouraged to find every secret, increasing the likelihood that you may die a lot from falling.
It’s certain that at some point during Survivor, someone will fall off the map. This could be because they attempted to reach an inaccessible region, missed a rope, or misjudged how far they could drop.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – How to disable fall damage
To disable fall damage, pause Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and go to the Exploration menu’s first option.
Detailed instructions can be found in the game’s Options menu, under the Gameplay subheading. Navigate down to the ‘Exploration’ section and disable the topmost option.
You are free to turn ‘Disable Fall Damage’ on and off at will. If you’re worried about missing out on trophies and achievements, you can rest assured: enabling this option won’t prohibit you from doing so.
This setting won’t prevent you from wandering off the edge of the world while it’s active, though. Fading to black and respawning at the point of your last jump remains an option if you die. However, you won’t have to worry because you won’t suffer any negative health effects!
Without having to worry about your health while platforming, you’ll be free to explore the game’s uncharted areas in search of its most intriguing secrets.
