Star Wars: Hunters has been delayed to 2023
Star Wars: Hunters, a team-based combat game that was planned only for the Nintendo Switch and Android/iOS, was postponed to 2023, according to a Monday announcement from Zynga. To “meet the high expectations” it has set for fans and developers, including the developers at its subsidiary NaturalMotion, the mobile game developer, which was acquired by Take-Two Interactive back in May, explained in a statement posted on Twitter that it had postponed the global launch of Star Wars: Hunters. While acknowledging the frustration caused by the game’s additional year of delay, it assures Star Wars fans that the experience will be worthwhile.
“We understand game delays are frustrating. However, our top priority is ensuring players will have the best possible experience in the arena,” Zygna said.

Star Wars: Hunters has had to be postponed previously. The game was previously slated to launch in 2021 after being revealed in February 2021, but Zynga ultimately decided to push back the launch date to 2022. In the meantime, it was able to roll out a soft launch in select areas, allowing players the chance to test the game and provide input that may have influenced the company’s decision to postpone the game’s debut once further.
