Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk teased some new details about Netflix’s highly anticipated second season of Squid Game in a recent interview with Vanity Fair. The survival thriller drama is expected to return at the end of 2023 or early in 2024, according to reports.
Season 2 is still in its early stages of development, according to Hwang, who currently has “three pages worth of ideas” that he plans to turn into a script. Fans can also expect more games in the next instalment, according to him.
“Those games are going to put humanity to the test once more,” Hwang teased. “I’d like to pose the question, ‘Is true human solidarity possible?’
