A new trailer for the second episode of South Park’s made-for-TV movie The Streaming Wars has been released, showing the saga’s conclusion.

The latest teaser shows Randy Marsh fully assuming the identity of “Karen,” threatening people inside a supermarket, and then revealing the story’s climax. On July 13, 2022, South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2 will make its world premiere on Paramount+ alone.

The official summary of the impending movie is, “Cartman squares off against his mother in a battle of wills as an epic struggle develops and threatens South Park’s very existence. South Park has also been continuing its run on television alongside the made-for-TV movies, with the 25th season of the series wrapping up earlier this year after showing six episodes on Comedy Central.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone are the creators of the show. Parker, Stone, Anne Garefino, and Frank C. Agnone II are the executive producers of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning series. Producers include Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell, and Vernon Chatman.
In August 2021, it was revealed that Stone and Parker had agreed to a new contract with ViacomCBS worth $900 million that would last until 2027. As part of the agreement, Comedy Central’s animated comedy series would be renewed for additional seasons, and 14 original South Park hour-long movies would be produced for Paramount+.
