The critically acclaimed survival game The Forest has a follow-up, titled Sons of the Forest. In the first game, you experience a devastating plane crash and must learn to live on a forested peninsula that is not quite abandoned. The story of the sequel picks up just where the first game left off, taking the player on an adventure full of fresh obstacles and exciting new encounters.
You may be aware of the game’s co-op feature if you played the prequel. This may either be a great time and help you survive, or it might make it much more challenging. That being said, can you play Sons of the Forest with other people, and if so, how many at once? Every question you may have may be answered by reading our FAQ.
Guidelines for playing Sons of the Forest with other players
In Sons of the Forest, you may play with pals in co-op mode, meaning you can rely on them to assist you out when things go tough in the game’s dangerous forest.
Unfortunately, local co-op isn’t supported, thus the only way to work together is over the internet.
How many can play Sons of the Forest co-op?
Players sometimes question how many friends they can invite to play Sons of the Forest co-op, given how important it is to the game. Fortunately, just like the original Forest game, this one allows for up to eight players on a single game, creating a sizable group of survivors.
Co-op (multiplayer) gameplay instructions should mirror those of the original game. In order to play with your friends, you’ll have to start the game, make a lobby, and manually invite them one by one.
