Sons of the Forest: How to Get the Cross
The horror elements in Sons of the Forest are one of the game’s distinctive factors. It omits the standard zombies in favour of mutant humanoid cannibals inspired by the story. There are a variety of items and strategies available for use in battle against the mutants, some of which are more effective deterrents than others. In order to defeat the demon mutants in Sons of the Forest, you will need the Cross, which may be obtained by reading on.
Sons of the Forest: How to Get the Cross
There’s a good possibility you saw the Cross in the cave if you’ve previously gone to retrieve the Rope Gun in Sons of the Forest. If it isn’t there, don’t worry; it’s probably not too far away. The Maintenance Keycard is the first item you’ll want to check for. The next step is to find the green circle on your GPS map, as illustrated below. Keep a watch out for it when it approaches the shore.
After entering the bunker depicted above, one must go via its hallways, down its steps, and around to the next set of stairs. At some point, you’ll need to enter a door that’s orangey-yellow in colour.
After entering, proceed straight ahead until you reach a pair of unlocked double doors. Pass through this door, and you’ll enter a room straight out of a museum. If you enter the unlocked door on the right, you’ll find what appears to be a spacious subterranean apartment. If you look around, you can uncover a spooky letter like the one seen below.
The Cross appears immediately after the letter. To add it to your inventory, simply get close to it and hit the “E” key on your keyboard. When you’re ready to employ it against foes, just equip it from that location.
Demon mutants will be vulnerable to the Cross since it sets them on fire. You may use it against other mutants, but they’ll only retreat for a second or two before charging back in.
