Sons of the Forest – How to Get Golden Armor
It goes without saying that if you’re playing a survival horror game like Sons of the Forest, you’ll want to have as much protection as possible against the cannibalistic mutant foes who chase you. It’s a relief that there are several options for finding the greatest possible armour in the recently released sequel to The Forest. This is the end of your search for information on how to acquire the Golden Armor set in Sons of the Forest. What you need to know is summarised in the following simple guide.
Sons of the Forest – How to Get Golden Armor
The Maintenance Keycard is the first thing you’ll need before venturing out into Sons of the Forest in search of the Golden Armor. As soon as you have that, head to the cave in the location marked on the map. The GPS map can be used to find the right cave and other features, such the large lake, in the area.
As you get into the cave that contains the Katana, be careful to hit “L” on your keyboard to turn on your flashlight. If you want to find a passageway, you’ll need to keep descending into the cave. There is a door at the end of the hall that can only be opened with the Maintenance Keycard. Use it to descend to the basement, then proceed down the hall until you reach a door that looks like it was painted with a yellow or orange crayon.
Your interaction with it will trigger a brief cutscene with horrifying mutants, after which you will be able to cancel the action and go down the steps. After you’ve made it to the second floor, you’ll see a door that leads to the Golden Armor. After passing through the first unlocked door, go straight into the third unlocked door on the right. The Golden Armor is placed on the sofa.
