Sons of the Forest: How To Get Electricity
In the game, obtaining electricity requires players to first locate the necessary components. Getting power in this area right now requires tracking down one of the map’s scattered Solar Panels. In most cases, the players will discover a few light bulbs and solar panels close to the 3D printer.

If the player is looking for a guaranteed Solar Panel, they should investigate the cave shown on the map below. A room full of boxes, including Solar Panels, may be found in the cave’s subterranean area. It’s possible that this aspect will evolve over time as Sons of the Forest receives additional updates.
The Solar Panel needs to be installed on the roof once the player has gathered the necessary components. Incorrect wiring prevents electricity from being generated.
Players can use the Solar Panels to power light bulbs in their bases, doing away with the necessity to throw leaves onto torches or campfires. This makes life much easier and more productive for the Sons of the Forest.
