The M1A Carbine was a mainstay of US weapons throughout WWII, and for good cause. Far and away the quietest gun in the game, it is ideal for playing the stealth role and getting about with the least amount of commotion.
Pros and Cons of the M1A Carbine
This is a fantastic weapon, however it is not without flaws. It is clearly superior at closer ranges and has around half the stopping power of the German Karabiner, but it is so simple to manage and shoot that it is difficult not to fall in love with it.
- Rapid firing is simple to regulate.
- Long-range performance is lacking
- The audible range
With an audible range of of 105m, you can virtually get away with murder with the M1A Carbine. They won’t even realize you were there if you use a cunning distraction or twom, not until it’s much too late.
An 8X zoom rounds out a very impressive feature set, however at really long ranges, the weapon falls short of expectations.
Size of a magazine
With a spectacular mag size of 15, the M1A Carbine functions in some ways like an SMG, but with the potential to strike those long-range targets as well with a quality sight.
