Shang-Chi has remained at the top of the box office for nearly a month, with four weeks and counting this weekend.

After a two-year hiatus following Spider-Man: Far From Home, the MCU’s big screen offerings returned with the release of Black Widow. Scarlett Johansson has filed a $100 million lawsuit against Disney for releasing the prequel on Disney Plus and in theatres at the same time.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was released only in theatres, and it appears that many people are eager to return to the theatre. The most recent MCU origin storey has now remained at the top of the box office for four weeks, grossing $196.5 million. That implies it has now surpassed Black Widow’s overall total.

Its success also means that, barring any further lockdowns, Disney will likely stop releasing Marvel movies on its streaming service at the same time they hit theatres. If you’d want to try Shang-Chi for the first time at home, the good news is that you won’t have to wait long. The most recent MCU film.

In March 2022, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released, followed by a slew of other projects announced for the rest of the year and into 2023.

While no MCU film will be released in October, the months and years following will be quite busy for the world’s most popular franchise. Before the end of 2021, Eternals and Spider-Man: No Way Home will be available.

On November 12, 2021, designated Disney Plus Day, Shang-chi will be available to all subscribers.
