Shakira is garnering a lot of attention from Tom Cruise
It would appear that Tom Cruise has entered the fray for Shakira’s affections. A source told Page Six that Cruise is “extremely interested” in the pop singer after the two were sighted together at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami. “There is chemistry,” the source said.
The informant claims that Shakira, who recently broke up with longtime boyfriend Gerard Piqué, might use a shoulder to cry on. People have said things like, “Shakira needs a soft pillow to fall on, and that could be Tom,” and that Cruise is “a nice-looking guy, and he is talented.”
Cruise also has an edge in height over Shakira’s ex-boyfriend. The insider added, “And she isn’t taller than him,” referring to the fact that both Cruise and Shakira are shorter than five feet, seven inches.
The “Top Gun: Maverick” actor was spotted hanging out with the Colombian singer on the starting grid and in a VIP hospitality suite during the race, and he supposedly brought her flowers after their weekend together.
They have been together for 12 years and share custody of their two children. Shakira said of the breakup last year in an interview with Elle, “It’s been tough not only for me, but also for my kids. Incredibly difficult. I can only say that I put everything I had into this relationship and my family.”
To date, Cruise has been linked to his “Mission: Impossible 7” co-star Hayley Atwell, with whom he shares three children from a previous relationship. Their rumored final breakup occurred last year.
