Season 4 of Stranger Things is set to premiere in the summer of 2022, and the episode titles have been revealed
Fans of Stranger Things will have to wait a little longer for Season 4 of the famous spooky series to arrive on Netflix, but the streaming service has issued a welcome update on the debut date.
Netflix announced that the series starring Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp will premiere in Summer 2022 during its Stranger Things Day event on Saturday.
Stranger Things season four has been a long time coming; the third season premiered in July 2019, but due to the epidemic, which forced the show’s production to halt, it will premiere in 2022, after only being able to resume production in September 2020.
Joyce Byers is seen moving her sons and Eleven out of the Indiana town to start a new life at the end of Season 3, following the explosion aimed at destroying the Soviet lab to the Upside Down deep beneath the new Starcourt Mall. In the closing scene, guards are feeding a prisoner to an imprisoned Demogorgon, although “not the American,” as the scene takes place in the extreme Eastern extremity of the USSR.
Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Cara Buono, and Sadie Sink are all-star in the series.
Stranger Things is produced by Monkey Massacre Productions and 21 Laps Entertainment and created by Matt and Ross Duffer. Along with executive producer/director Shawn Levy and exec producer Dan Cohen of 21 Laps and exec producer Iain Paterson, the twin brothers act as writers, directors, executive producers, and showrunners on the series.
The titles for all nine Season 4 episodes have also been released by Netflix, with some referring to series characters and others hinting at potential climax moments. All of them are listed below:
The Hellfire Club
Vecna’s Curse
The Monster and The Superhero
Dear Billy
The Nina Project
The Dive
The Massacre At Hawkins Lab
Papa
The Piggyback
