Sea of Thieves Season 7 is live now on Xbox and PC
Sea of Thieves’ seventh season is now available for free to all players on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Xbox One S, Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs, Steam, and Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Players will be able to buy, name, and customise their own ships as part of Season 7, which was first shown off at this year’s Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase. Season 7 will also have 100 levels of free prizes and a premium Plunder Pass that can be purchased separately.
Microsoft has announced that Season Seven is now available as a free upgrade for all Xbox Game Pass subscribers across Xbox Series X|S (XBox One), Xbox One, Windows 10/11 PC, and Steam.
The Sea of Thieves community has been eagerly anticipating the addition of the Captaincy feature, which will allow players to take command of their own ship and get access to new customization, progression, and gameplay choices. Captains can give their new ship a name, buy décor for their quarters, show off their treasures from previous and future expeditions, and more. Additionally, a pirate’s favourite achievements can be displayed in the Captain’s Logbook, which can be read by other players and also serves as a log of the current play session.
There is much for every kind of pirate to get their teeth into this season, from Sea of Thieves’ first Mystery to the 100 levels of Seasonal Renown to be reaped to the continuous, time-limited Adventures, which begin on August 18 with ‘A Hunter’s Cry’.
