Sasha Farber and Emma Slater of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Split 4 Years after wedding
It has been verified by reports that Emma Slater and Sasha Farber, of “Dancing With the Stars,” have separated after four years of marriage.
Recently, Farber (age 38) and Slater (age 33) worked on many routines for the most recent season of So You Think You Can Dance.
They sang Bruno Mars’s “Just the Way You Are.” and got engaged at a live filming of the ABC show in October 2016.

Tom Bergeron, a former host, met them at the door and led them to the centre of the ballroom, where he told Farber, “Sasha, I always thought you had the potential to host.”
Snatching the Slater’s hands in his, Farber exclaimed, “Babe, I wanted to do this for such a long, long time.” In front of a shocked crowd, he dropped down on one knee and told Slater: “I love you so much. Will you marry me?”
After the show aired, it was revealed that Farber proposed with a pink sapphire, the same colour as the ring worn by Slater’s mother.

Two years passed before they became romantically involved, although Farber claims he knew within the first three or four months of meeting Slater that he was the one.
“We’ve been together five-and-a-half years,” Slater said . “We bought a house recently and it feels like the natural progression. My mother said ones that marriage should feel natural and not like a surprise. It should be expected because that’s when it’s right and it’s already felt like I’ve been his fiancé and wife for years now. It feels really natural… apart from the heaviness of my arm, it feels quite natural.”
Farber and Slater got married in 2018 at Bella Blanca in Los Angeles with close friends and family in attendance, including fellow DWTS pros Lindsay Arnold, Hayley Erbert, Witney Carson, Brittany Cherry, and Jenna Johnson.
Farber looked dapper in a black and white tuxedo, while the bride, Slater, looked radiant in a white Rivini gown with lace accents.
The pair danced to Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” released in 2017, for their first dance, and the Grammy winner even recorded a personalised message for them.
