Resident Evil 4 Remake: Upgrade the Attache Case & Increase Inventory Space
With the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake today, players are no doubt busy clearing out the zombie infestation and exploring the game’s many hidden areas in quest of hidden mysteries and valuable goods. However, you will need a large amount of storage space, which is provided by your attache case, in order to transport all of these items. To store your whole arsenal and all the goodies you acquire, you may improve the case as you play. Check below to know how to Upgrade the Attache Case & Increase Inventory Space in Resident Evil 4 Remake
Attache Case
Your attache case, which resembles a sturdy briefcase, is where you keep all of the consumables and weapons you find during the game. Everything from your arsenal of weapons and their upgrades and ammunition to your stockpile of medicinal goods like herbs, first aid sprays, and eggs.
Managing your inventory in this game doesn’t need you to worry about hitting a weight restriction or a simple number limit as in other games. Each of your things will occupy a particular amount of the squares in the compartment of the case. Some items, like eggs, take up only one square, while others, like weapons, take up several.
You can rearrange things anyway you see fit, making the most efficient use of the available room. Pressing L3 activates the “auto-batch” option, which combines your items in an order that has been determined to be the most efficient.
Your attache case is also used to create products like blended herbs and add accessories like stocks and sights to your guns.
Resident Evil 4 Remake: Upgrade the Attache Case & Increase Inventory Space
While the original game’s attache case could be updated to provide Leon with a little additional item space, the remake goes above and above by giving Leon access to a variety of cases, each of which has its own unique benefits.
The Merchant sells all available case upgrades at various points in the game. You should check in with him frequently, especially if storage space is getting tight, because he will always be adding fresh inventory.
Save up some Pesetas, because each Storage Upgrade for your loaded case will cost a certain amount (minimum of roughly 10,000).
However, the special Case Upgrades themselves need Spinels, rare pink gems acquired throughout the game and redeemable at the Merchant. You’ll need a certain amount of Spinels to purchase each of the available Case Upgrades.

What Each Upgraded Case Offers and How to Get It
You should study the descriptions carefully before purchasing a case because each one has a distinct name and offers a different advantage in-game.
The default choice, the Silver Attache Case, has a higher chance of spawning handgun ammunition.
The pace at which resources are dropped is increased by the Black Attache Case. (L). Starting in Chapter 4, it may be purchased for 8 Spinels from the Merchant.
The Attache Case: The drop rate of red herbs, necessary for effective heavy healing, is increased by using leather. The price is 12 Spinels, which may be bartered with the Merchant, and it becomes accessible in Chapter 8.
The drop rate of Pesetas is increased by using the Attache Case: Gold, which is a downloadable content-only option.
The final available upgrade is the Attache Case: Classic, which is only available as downloadable content. As a result, more powder will fall from the sky. Though seemingly unimportant, this upgrade is essential for anybody planning to engage in magnum ammunition farming.
Instructions for Swapping Out Attache Case Additions
If you save up enough Pesetas and Spinels before starting the game, you should have no trouble upgrading your attache case to its maximum level and using it effectively on your first playthrough.
You shouldn’t worry that you’ll lose your old one forever if you buy a new one from the Merchant. Any purchased enhancements can be swapped out at any time by visiting a typewriter. A ‘Customize Case’ option will appear in the menu prompt, allowing you to swap out the attache upgrade and add charms.
