Rayman 4 Source Code and Editor has just leaked on the internet
We’ve learned a few things about it over the years, but it appears that the curtain is about to fall completely now that Rayman 4’s source code and editor have been leaked on the internet. According to one Twitter user, the original Rayman 4 project’s source code, editor, and assets have now been leaked online. The leak isn’t a minor one, either: The entire source code and editor for the canceled Rayman 4 game have somehow leaked and are now available for use by people who were already exploring unreleased game content.
The source of the leak is unknown, but talented fans have already begun digging and displaying screenshots and information from the unreleased Rayman 4. Unreleased Rayman 4 source code, complete with editing tools, gave fans a sneak peek at what this canceled sequel was going to be like. Rayman 4 source code appears to have been leaked, implying that the canceled project is now playable, despite the fact that we have never seen it in finished form.
Rayman 4 source code and editors appear to have leaked, providing new insight into the canceled project that was eventually turned into Rayman. Some may be unaware that Raving Rabbids began as Rayman 4, with plans for yet another Hoodlum Havoc-style 3D platformer. Rayman 4 was eventually renamed Rayman Raving Rabbids, and much of what we saw in the trailer was transformed into a minigame.

Rayman 4 is said to have been developed prior to Rayman Raving Rabbids, with parts manifesting into Rayman Raving Rabbids, and thus Rayman 4 never saw the light of day. Rayman 4 received a brief teaser trailer, with much of the content created for Rayman 4 later revealed to have been reused by Ubisoft for Rayman Raving Rabbids. Phoenix Interactive Entertainment was working on Rayman 4, but Ubisoft canceled the project, resulting in Rayman: Raving Rabbids.
Rayman 4 Gameplay Reveals from a Cancelled Title A few pieces of Rayman’s work have surfaced over the years, but nothing quite like this. Indeed, based on RibShark’s Twitter feeds, Rayman 4 appears to have a few prototype levels that are playable. Another thing RibShark demonstrated, which confirmed Rayman 4’s cancellation, was a build that clearly contained a level called Sphincter Cell, which appeared to be taking place within something. Twitter user TheZombieKiller shared a video of one of Rayman 4’s cool levels.
