Ray J made scary social media suicide threats that he has since deleted
Like Ray J last Thursday night, many famous people struggle with suicidal thoughts. Before we go any further, we wanted to let you know that Ray J is well and unharmed. But last night he was on a bender that nearly resulted in his jumping over a roof. He had been drinking and was having a moment of introspection that he thought would be appropriate to share on Instagram.
Thankfully, Ray J found an excuse not to jump: his kids. With a family to support, Ray J has every reason to keep going. On multiple Instagram stories, he shared the following: “If it wasn’t 4 my Kidz I would jump off and die tonight. SHOULD I JUST JUMP off and end it rit. Now!!! ???? Trying to figure it out — maybe this life was a illusion. Maybe the next life was my real reality.”
Ray J provided further context by displaying photographs of his foot dangling over a precipice. Whether he was on a balcony or a rooftop was unknown, but it was irrelevant. Ray J is not the only man with a history of mental illness who has an unusual connection to the Kardashians in the public eye.
Ray J shot to prominence as the producer and director of Kim Kardashian’s sex tape, but he is also a singer and composer who has been on television. Many others have tried to replicate the success that the Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson tape had in the X-Rated film industry. Both Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian have been seen doing this. Between the years 2002 and 2006, Ray J dated the socialite.
“Kim Kardashian Superstar” is the title of the movie. The footage was shot in 2004 on her vacation to Cabo with Ray J. Movie that opened wide in 2007 and catapulted Kim Kardashian to stardom. Since then, Ray J has been attacked for his role in the tape and has had difficulty maintaining mental health as a result. Brandy’s brother Ray is a first cousin of Snoop Dogg’s.
