Priest Who Died and comeback to life says Hell’s music is Rihanna and Bobby McFerrin
Gerald Johnson said he suffered a heart attack in 2016 and “temporarily died” in a now-viral TikTok. Although the preacher thought he was “going upwards” since he had done “so much good in this lifetime,” he really descended into Hell and saw agony “he wouldn’t wish [on] his worst enemy.”
Gerald continued by describing several “indescribable” events, such as a man “walking on all fours like a dog and getting burned from head to toe” while wearing “chains on his neck,” and a section of Hell where a choir of demons play music as a form of punishment; more specifically, Rihanna’s “Umbrella” and Bobby McFerrin’s “Don’t Worry Be Happy.”
He did concede that the demon choir aims to cause as much pain as possible by singing “very badly,” and that “every word of every song was meant to punish you for the fact that you didn’t worship God via music when you were on Earth.”
Having said that, Gerald did finally return to the world of the living. While he looks forward to a second trip to Heaven, the rest of us seem like we’ll be spending all of eternity in hell, where we can look forward to chain collars, fire, and standing beneath Rihanna’s umbrella.
